Position Summary:    The position is responsible for developing and executing functional tests using automated test tools to quality assure new or modified applications/systems, primarily in a web-based environment. Position Summary:
This position has a primary responsibility for the day-to-day technical performance of the company’s commercial transactional processing systems at Savvis’ Managed Services Data Center in St. Louis. This will require 24x7 monitoring and documentation  of all system aspects including technical metrics and sales metrics.   Monitoring systems include real-time performance using  Mercury’s SiteScope and Gomez web monitoring.  Savvis will provide hands on support for backup, firewall management and server deployment but all direction, testing and coordination will be provided by this position.  The BBN transaction system runs a  custom application developed to support its current  web based broadband aggregation business.  Current system architecture provides load balanced web blades with a MS SQL 2000 database backend.  BBN is currently deploying a new .net system with a MS SQL 2005 database.


This position is integral for providing the leadership, management and oversight for the day-to-day operations of IT infrastructure resources, components and services critical to the high availability operation of the company's multi-platform, 24/7 data centers including the Miami colo which provides reporting/data warehouse and a VMware test environment. This position is also integral to ensure the cost-effective use of data center resources, timely response for data center issues and is tasked to provide maximum effectiveness in routine, daily operations.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Ensure service levels for system availability for mission critical systems and applications.
  • Ensure nightly batch processing is completed on time and within standards.
  • Ensure efficient and effective management and delivery of help desk services to end users of information systems, applications and services.

Position Summary:    This position will work directly with the Accounting Manager (AM). The position is analytically oriented focused on gathering and analyzing data to be used for operational reporting, improvement and efficiency and to report on the effectiveness of strategy initiatives within the company.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Metrics Reporting and Quantitative Evaluation: establish system and develop format to gather relevant performance metrics (residential, commercial and transaction-based revenue; commercial affiliate commissions; key vendors) and develop and maintain a key statistics report to be reviewed on a weekly or monthly basis and used for strategic planning purposes.   • Collaborate with various business functions and subject matter experts to ensure information presented on the portal is accurate and up-to-date
  • Support for current and future functionality includes: Ensuring that links relevant to sites are current and updated, specifies high level requirements for current and future content/features by conducting research, and ongoing customer and site trend analysis, analyze usage and respond to feedback to promote continuous improvement, create and deliver training class/documentation for Help Desk function, manages new account creation process.

Qualifications:
    • 3+ years in a portal development role

Position Summary:   
The VP of Product Development is a hands-on, strategic and operational role requiring exerience in launching and managing the life cycle of web based products and services.
