Broadband National expands investment in Orlando with new division headquarters

New alliances with Orlando-area companies add to increased presence

Vero Beach, Fla., November 30, 2004 – Broadband National Inc. today announced it has expanded its investment in Orlando with the opening of its Commercial Sales Division headquarters in downtown Orlando at 250 N. Orange St. The new office will serve as the national sales base for 10 senior executives.

In related news, Marlin Web Hosting (www.marlinwebhosting.com) of Kissimmee has been selected to manage Broadband National’s new, dedicated data center. This agreement provides Broadband National with enterprise-level server management and infrastructure needed to enhance the company’s performance and business intelligence initiatives. The added management and resources expands Broadband National’s ability to automate core-business processes, which should result in significant cost savings and customer-conversion rates.

Also, Broadband National has agreed to integrate its free online marketplace on ForTheTenant.com, a nationwide office-space procurement platform based in Orlando. The agreement will allow corporate real estate tenants to use Broadband National’s service to secure guaranteed lowest pricing on broadband and telecom services – as part of the tenants’ use of the ForTheTenant.com service. ForTheTenant.com helps corporate tenants negotiate lower rental rates or purchase terms by using an auction process with local landlords. This competitive bidding process reduces the cost of occupancy for tenants in 48 major markets nationwide.

Since its founding in 2002 in Vero Beach, Fla., Broadband National has enjoyed substantial sales growth and profitability, serving more than 30,000 consumers and 500 multi-site businesses. Broadband National’s service enables businesses and consumers to quickly evaluate broadband solutions and pricing from more than 40 different suppliers nationwide. Broadband services include DSL, Cable Internet, Internet Telephony (VoIP), bundled voice and data, and leased-lines (T-1 and fractional T-1).

Businesses with 1 to 15,000 locations can identify solutions almost instantaneously. The system enables Broadband National to serve as a single source for service selection, contract negotiation, order processing and provision management – providing businesses with significant savings in labor costs and monthly telecom expenses.

“With our success in the consumer market firmly established, we are expanding to serve commercial enterprises of all sizes nationwide,” said A.J. Koontz, Broadband National’s founder and executive vice president, sales. “We believe our new Commercial Sales headquarters in Orlando has helped us attract the talent we need to meet our expansion goals, and it also brings us closer to a large base of business prospects.”
